BIO
Drawing from the warmth and character of ’90s R&B, Jalisa’s music moves between intimate songwriting, rhythm-led production and contemporary pop and soul. Rather than staying tied to one sound, each release is allowed to find its own character, with melody and storytelling at the centre.Working independently across music and film, she also develops the visual world around her releases, extending the music through concept, image and narrative. Her work is shaped by atmosphere, detail and an interest in making each project feel complete in its own right.
